Acceptance of Terms

By using Vinci Brain, you accept these terms of service. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Service Description

Vinci Brain is an educational general knowledge app that offers interactive quizzes with detailed explanations and anecdotes.

Age Requirements

You must be 13 years or older to use this application. At first launch (onboarding), your age is verified for this sole purpose and is not retained.

User Account

You are responsible for your account security.
Only one account per person is allowed.
We reserve the right to suspend accounts in case of abuse.
A guest (anonymous) mode is available without account creation. Guest data is subject to the same deletion and export rights as registered accounts.

Acceptable Use

You agree to:

Use the app lawfully;
Not attempt to bypass security measures;
Not copy or redistribute content.

Subscriptions and Payments

Vinci Brain offers optional premium access, in two forms: a subscription (monthly or yearly) or a one-time “lifetime” purchase.

Purchase and payment are handled by the App Store (Apple) or Google Play, depending on your platform, at the price shown in the app at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by country and applicable taxes.
Subscription — auto-renewing: the subscription renews automatically at the end of each period (monthly or yearly) at the then-current price, unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Free trial: the yearly plan may include a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, it automatically converts to a paid yearly subscription. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase the corresponding subscription.
Lifetime access: the “lifetime” option is a one-time payment, with no renewal and no subscription, granting access to premium features.
Cancellation: at any time from your App Store or Google Play account, at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period already paid for; no pro-rated refund is issued.
Any price change will be communicated to you in accordance with your platform’s rules. Subscription management and refund requests are governed by the App Store or Google Play terms.

On iOS, in the absence of these terms, Apple’s standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA) applies.

Intellectual Property

All Vinci Brain content (questions, explanations, illustrations) is protected by copyright. It is provided to you for personal, non-commercial use.

Limitation of Liability

Our educational content is written with care, researched, and regularly reviewed. The app is provided for educational and informational purposes and is not a professional or authoritative reference. Despite our diligence, occasional errors or inaccuracies may occur: the app is provided “as is”, without warranty that all information is error-free or fully up to date.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time. We reserve the right to terminate access in case of violation of these terms.

Modifications

We may modify these terms. Continued use of the app constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec and the applicable laws of Canada. If you are a consumer, you retain the mandatory protections provided by the legislation of your country of residence, which these terms do not override.
